The clip that changed the industry
Before the C Clip, securing bird mesh meant driving a sheet metal screw directly into the panel frame. It worked. But it voided the panel warranty the moment the drill made contact.

Step 1 : Slide onto frame
Engage the clip at the required fixing positions along the panel perimeter. The precision friction fit locks immediately.
Step 2 : Feed the mesh
Thread bird mesh through the clip as you work around the array. No tools required at any stage.

Step 1 : Fit and mesh as above
The base installation is identical. For standard conditions, the friction fit alone is sufficient.
Step 2 : Lock with screw (exposed / commercial)
Insert the 25mm galvanised self-drilling screw through the clip so it catches the bottom edge of the frame. Do not drive into the frame itself. The screw creates a permanent mechanical lock — warranty intact.

Do these clips void the panel warranty?
No. Both clips engage the panel frame without penetrating it. The optional screw on the C Clip with Screw catches the bottom edge of the frame rather than drilling into it — the warranty remains fully intact.
What panel depth are these designed for?
Both the C Clip and C Clip with Screw are designed specifically for 30mm solar panel frames and are not suitable for other panel depths.
Can I use these for solar spikes as well as mesh?
Yes. Both clips are compatible with bird mesh and solar spike systems.
Does the screw come included with the C Clip with Screw?
No — the 25mm galvanised self-drilling hexagonal head sheet metal screw is available separately from the Renew store.
