This heavy gauge bird wire mesh provides an effective solution for screening solar panels, preventing birds from accessing the underside where they nest and risk causing damage or nuisance. Nesting birds can deposit droppings and debris on panel surfaces, reducing overall output and system yield. They may also interfere with system cabling and cause blockages in guttering and roof drainage as nesting materials, feathers, and food debris accumulate over time.
- Supplied in rolls for flexible length cutting
- Recommended to cut into six-foot lengths and straighten before installation
- Bottom inch of mesh bent at 30° “kick-out” using a 2” x 4” timber to lock securely against panels
